OUR ESTATE

ANA Estate is a family-owned winery based in Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia. Surrounded by rolling hills at 300 meters above sea level, the vineyards benefit from excellent sun exposure and cooling breezes. The marl-rich soils of the region, combined with thoughtful vineyard management, produce wines that are structured, balanced, and expressive of their origin. Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir are the foundation of our inspiration with a focus on clarity and regional character.

Elizaveta and Peter Gönc are the creators of ANA Selection, a project born from a shared pursuit of excellence and a belief in the potential of their region.

Inspired by the great wine cultures of the world and grounded in the vineyards of Štajerska, they approach winemaking with curiosity, precision, and a deep respect for terroir.

For them, winemaking is not a matter of intuition alone, but also of observation, understanding, and thousands of deliberate decisions made between the vineyard and the bottle. Their approach combines analytical thinking with craftsmanship, guided by a desire to express each vineyard as clearly and honestly as possible. Through ANA Selection, Elizaveta and Peter create wines that combine elegance with energy, structure with purity, and a strong sense of origin with a contemporary perspective.

Philosophy

ROOTED BY THE DRAVA RIVER IN SLOVENIA, OUR WINES GROW FROM MARLSTONE SOIL AND ARE SHAPED BY TIME, NOT HASTE. EVERY BOTTLE REFLECTS WHERE WE ARE AND HOW WE WORK: WITH CARE, PATIENCE, AND RESPECT FOR WHAT LASTS. FROM THE CALM OF CHARDONNAY TO THE CLARITY OF BLANC, OUR WINES AREN’T HERE JUST TO IMPRESS.
